The Chinese have outclassed their rivals at the Aviva Open Singapore, winning three events out of five.
The mixed doubles event saw a showdown between China's players, with Zheng Bo and Ma Jin proving to be the more formidable team against Xie Zhongbo and Zhang Yawen, scoring 21-19, 18-21, 21-10.
Zhang fared better in the women’s doubles. Together with Zhao Tingting, she took a straight-set victory of 21-14, 21-13 over their Indonesian opponents Nitya Krishinda Maheswari and Greysia Polii.
It was an easy victory as well for Englishmen Anthony Clark and Nathan Robertson in the men’s doubles. They defeated their Indonesian rivals 12-21, 11-21 in under half an hour.
But it was a close fight in the women’s singles event, with Hong Kong's Zhou Mi battling China's Xie Xingfang.
It was a draw after two sets, but top-seed Zhou took a decisive win in the third set, clinching the title with 21-19, 18-21, 21-10.
In the men’s singles event, world number 16 Bao Chunlai from China took down Thailand's Boonsak Ponsana in three sets - 21-19, 16-21 and 21-15 - denying Ponsana a repeat of his 2007 win in the tournament.
Bao said: "I was really eager to play today, I wanted to do well. Boonsak was in great condition, especially in the second set where I felt he really controlled the game. But I'm glad I managed to catch up with him in the third set. I'm happy with my performance."
